Day to remember AND make memories

The feeling of the cemetery on Memorial Day is very reverent.  We think of those that died so we could have and keep our freedom and those who we loved who have passed on to a much better place, but way too soon.  

 

First stop was our Isabelle.  We visited a few more sites of other loved ones.   I thought of how sweet it was to have the sun shine

down on us (and the rain stop) during these tender moments. 

Then we made new memories.  Ganah and Anna made a fabulous treasure hunt for all the 'young-uns'  They had so much fun, I forgot to take a picture of all their fun treasures!   And of course Ganah and Booboo made a fabulous "linner" not lunch nor dinner.  We watched old family videos...ask Duff about how happy he was to see himself 12 years ago!  Oh... I loved ALL of him!

This was a few days later...but a fun memory for my girls for sure.

She began the birthday fun with a trip to 6th grade camp

Was embarrassed (and shot some great daggers) when the waitress at Red Robin made her a coffee filter hat and sang happy birthday with the whole restaraunt.

Got really silly...then had a halarious ride home

Emma, you have grown so much!  Sometimes I miss this little one, but then I  remember how you have grown into such a fun, loving young woman!  I look forward to many more years of spending time with you and making many more memories as a daughter and mother.  Thanks for all you do for me Emma girl, I love you so much!  Love, Mom 

Sisters in action

I always hated growing up without a sister.  But so dang glad that my girls have each other.  They come up with cutest things to do with each other. 

Emma wanted to show off Lilli and Sophia's art...so she announced a show.......

Bella wanted to do something fun with Lillian....prehaps getting her ready for Faith in God/YW programs...or not?  When Lilli completed all 35 "badges", Bella threw her a PARTY to celebrate!
